My name is Mustafa Laxmidhar. I am a pharmaceutical scientist and regulatory consultant and the founder of Glaslyn Regulatory.
I hold an MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kingston University, London, and a BPharm. My MSc research focused on the anti-migratory effects of novel niclosamide derivatives on breast cancer cells – work that gave me a deep understanding of the intersection between pharmaceutical science and clinical application.
In the UK, I have worked within MHRA-regulated pharmacy operations at Day Lewis Pharmacy – one of the UK’s largest independent pharmacy groups – managing dispensary operations, monitored dosage systems, and buying. I understand what UK regulatory compliance looks like from the inside, not just from a textbook.
In India, I co-own a family pharmaceutical business. I understand how Indian pharmaceutical companies are structured, how they manufacture, how they think about regulation, and what they face when they consider international market entry.
That combination – lived experience on both sides – is rare. Most UK regulatory consultants have never set foot inside an Indian pharmaceutical operation. Most Indian pharmaceutical advisers have never navigated the MHRA. Glaslyn Regulatory was founded to fill that gap.
The name comes from Glaslyn – the glacial lake at the foot of Snowdon in Snowdonia, Wales. A place of extraordinary clarity, purity, and depth. Values I bring to every regulatory engagement.
